Initially basing its reputation as one of the UK’s favorite brands, it has become a subtle yet interesting presence on the Champagne market.\r\n\r\nDeutz has had a unique history: in 1983, it was acquired by the Rouzard family, owners of Louis Roederer; in 1988, the House formed a partnership with New Zealand producer Montana Wines to produce sparkling wine in the country’s exceptional Marlborough region; and in the 1990s, Deutz partnered with Beringer Wine Estates to form California’s Maison Deutz.This level of outreach was not always profitable, but it represented the House’s ingenuity and desire to expand a global appreciation for sparkling wines.\r\n\r\nThe Deutz signature style remains subtle and refined.  Among its stars are the non-vintage, full-bodied Brut Classic and Rosé along with vintage Brut Millésimé, RoséMillésimé, and Blanc de BlancsMillésimé.
