The oak imprint is indeed strong, and you will recognize tones of clove, cinnamon and smoked cedar wood. You will taste oak-related sweetness as well and tight tannins at the back. The softer and more accessible side of the wine comes from its aged tertiary aromas of licorice and balsam herb.
